TR1458 : The Bell and Crown

taken 7 years ago, near to Canterbury, Kent, Great Britain

The Bell and Crown
The Bell and Crown
This pub on the corner of St Alphege Lane carries reminders from at least three former breweries who have run the place.
That doesn't include Estrella Damm, whose prominent adverts now festoon the frontage.
See supplemental pics for more brewery related stuff. TR1458 : George Beer Window (Bell & Crown) and TR1458 : Fremlins Window (Bell & Crown)
And St. Alphege? He was a tenth century Archbishop of Canterbury who was murdered by Vikings.
