In the picture; the taller red roofed building comprises part of an Augustine Priory founded in 1229. The other part of the building is Tudor, being added after The Dissolution in 1537. The site is operated by the Sussex Archaeological Society. Their knowledgeable and friendly volunteers add much interest and charm to this beautiful, historic gem. See:LinkExternal link
