SN7787 : Ruin by the Maesnant

taken 7 years ago, near to Bryn y Beddau [other Features], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Ruin by the Maesnant
Ruin by the Maesnant
A ruin, possibly an old sheepfold or shelter, lies on flat ground just to the north of the Maesnant. The stark concrete structure to its right is a sluice intended to divert some of the stream's waters into the pipe carrying Aberystwyth's water supply. The whale-back ridge of Pumlumon Fawr crowns the horizon.
