Equus Clutha
Equus Clutha
Known locally as "Ginger", a new sculpture by Andy Scott at the east end of Cathcart Street. Ginger was a real cart horse, employed to move sugar between the docks and the sugarhouses, that drowned on 23 October 1889 in the former Albert Harbour.
Inverclyde sculptures
Several sculptures which were commissioned by local enterprise company Riverside Inverclyde LinkExternal link to brighten up the approaches to the town centres in Port Glasgow, Greenock and Gourock.
