The River Add
The River Add
Viewed from the Dunadd fort, the marshy valley floor shows where the river has changed course over the centuries.
The houses in the upper quarter of the photo are in Bridgend at the start of the Kilmichael Glassary valley famous for its decorated rock surfaces and standing stones.
The forested hill (top right) is Craig of Achnabrek.
More decorated rock surfaces are to be found on the other side of the hill.
