TL4458 : A view from the Castle

A view from the Castle
A view from the Castle
This zoom shot from the Castle motte, taken late on a bright early-September afternoon, shows how wooded the area west of the river is. The uncompromisingly uninteresting brown-brick tower of the University Library is on the right, with the tip of the spire of St Peter's Church outlined against it. Some of the trees show the first touch of autumn.
