Rectangular workshop building at Din Lligwy
The rectangular workshop had a cobbled stone floor and walls five foot thick, with a timber and thatch roof. It showed evidence of being used as a workshop by containing five hearths, iron slag, oak charcoal. Romano-British pottery of late Roman period date and two 4th century Roman currency coins gave added dating evidence. Additionally shellfish, bone tools and a bone musical instrument were also revealed showing that they snacked on oysters, enjoyed a break and utilised what was available locally.
