Brogdale Farm is a 160 acre farm south of Faversham, home to the national fruit collection, one of the largest fruit collections in the world. It grows over 4000 fruit varieties including Apple, Pear, Plum, Cherry, Bush fruit, Vine and Cob Nut cultivars. The collection is owned by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is part of an international programme to protect plant genetic resources for the future.
The farm has central market place of shops, a nursery, and offers orchard tours, hosts wedding receptions and small businesses. There is also a small gauge railway which goes through the orchards.
