North Queensferry Town Pier
The pier at North Queensferry was designed and built by the famous East Lothian engineer John Rennie (1761-1821). In 1828 another equally famous Scottish engineer, Thomas Telford (1757-1834), was commissioned to extend the pier, and this work was completed in 1834.
