Lewis Valentine 1893 - 1986, Llandudno
Born in Llanddulas in 1893, Lewis Valentine was a Baptist minister, author, pacifist and political activist. The first president of Plaid Cymru and its first parliamentary candidate in the 1928 election. In 1936, he was part of a protest against the building of a bombing school in Pen y Berth. Lewis Valentine was one of the ministers at Capel Y Tabernacl, where this red plaque in located.
