taken 7 years ago, near to Coombe Hill, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

Former course of the A38
Former course of the A38
Until it was upgraded to a dual carriage, probably in the 1960s, this used to be the route of the A38 to the north of Coombe Hill. The land has been reclaimed as grazing land however during dry summer of 2011 there is little grazing for livestock.
