Leith Walk School playground mural
Leith Walk School playground mural
A splurge of creativity on the facade of an old engineering works adjoining the school. It has taken half a century to move from the 'Victorian' spartanism of the 1950s to the hallucinatory, psychedelic '60s. Must be the influence of Austin Powers. The sculptor, Eduardo Paolozzi, grew up near the foot of Leith Walk and attended this school. For more information on the mural, click this LinkExternal link
