This is not a very large sheet of water, despite the impression that might be given by this photo which also shows the two highest mountains in England in the background. Scafell is the mountain on the left and Scafell Pike is on the right. Mickledore is the name of the col between the two. Ill Crag appears to the right of Scafell Pike.
