Two of the City's most iconic buildings, as seen from a relic of another era, one of the elevated walkways built as part of the development plan drawn up the City of London and London County Council in 1954-55. The segregation of traffic and pedestrians, a favourite of the 1960s, didn't really work, the pubs and shops which once lined the walkways have closed, and their precise fate is uncertain in light of a large-scale development planned for the area.
Visible are TQ3381 : Commercial Union Assurance, Leadenhall Street and 30 St Mary Axe and TQ3381 : Former Natwest Tower, Old Broad Street.
