Back in the 1970’s there were several daily cross-Border freight trains. They had mainly operated during the night but politically-motivated attacks during darkness meant that, for security, they were moved to daylight. A train of bulk cement “bubbles” is passing Lisburn for Belfast Adelaide yard J3271 : Adelaide goods yard, Belfast and J3271 : Adelaide freight yard.
