Entering Embleton
Embleton is a small village just inland from the bay, which bears its name. Embleton has a main street with one shop. There is a small green with the village pump on it, out of use now but at one time the source of the water supply. There are two pubs, two hotels and a village hall. The church dates to the 12th century.
