Sgwd Ddu Falls
Sgwd Ddu Falls
Sgwd Ddu, un o ryfeddodau'r Mynydd Du. Hyd y gwn i, bron yn ddieithriad, 'sgwd' neu 'sgwt' yw'r ffurf a arddelir yn Ne Cymru i ddynodi rhaeadr tra yn y Gogledd a'r Canolbarth 'rhaeadr' a ddefnyddir gan amlaf .

Sgwd Ddu (black waterfall) - one of the wonders of the Mynydd Du (Black Mountain). As far as I know, apart from a few exceptions, 'sgwd' or 'sgwt' is the Welsh word used in South Wales for a waterfall while 'rhaeadr' is more commonly used in North and Mid Wales.
