Pudding Barrow
Pudding Barrow
The barrow at Roundhill campsite is carefully fenced off from marauding campers, cattle or ponies by means of a low wooden barrier and an inner wire fence a metre or so inside. Sadly the information which may once have been on the board to the right had long disappeared.

It is listed as a scheduled monument by English Heritage who describe it as an example of a ditched bowl barrow. Bowl barrows are funerary monuments dating from the Late Neolithic to the Late Bronze Age.
