ST5872 : Office floors, Horizon House

Office floors, Horizon House
Office floors, Horizon House
Four floors of open-access deskspace are arranged so that air (and therefore heat) movement can be allowed to rise up the open atrium and escape. This naturally engineered system helps to save using conventional machinery and fuel. The windows are all double-glazed, allowing lots of daylight in, and are automatically regulated. This sort of thinking has netted the building a prestigous BREEM award, and is currently the most environmentally-friendly office in Britain. See LinkExternal link and ST5872 : Horizon House atrium and stairway for more info.
