SU3501 : Blasted heath

taken 7 years ago, near to Furzey Lodge, Hampshire, Great Britain

Blasted heath
Blasted heath
The vegetation here seems to have been burnt and the lowering skies don't help lift the gloom. The decaying concrete pathways are part of the former WWII Beaulieu Airfield and are now used as cycle routes (giving a somewhat bumpy ride) across Beaulieu Heath.
