SE2768 : Sudden Collapse

taken 8 years ago, near to Aldfield, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Sudden Collapse
Sudden Collapse
After some recent work by the Drystone Walling Guild part of this wall has been rebuilt; this section however collapsed early on a Monday morning. It has subsequently been repaired by the Guild. This wall forms part of the De Gray's Walk, a path that was put into the estate many years after the Abbey had ceased to be a going concern and as such it overlays some of the monastic ruins.
