Traigh and Camas Bostadh
Traigh and Camas Bostadh
Traigh is Gaelic for beach, and Camas is bay, so this is Bostadh beach and bay. The small islands of NB1242 : Bearasaigh in front of Seanna Chnoc can be seen out to sea.
The low lying rocks nearest the camera on the left of the image are Leac a' Gheinn and Rubha Haisgeir, but beyond them the further rocks are the low-lying island of Flodaigh - this can best be seen by selecting "more sizes" above right of the image, and then using the zoom feature on the largest (4Mb) image.
The next section of beach eastwards can be seen here NB1340 : Traigh Bostadh and Rubha Chuinnais
The next section of beach westwards can be seen here NB1340 : Traigh Bostadh, Creag Ruadh and Leac a' Gheinn
