Sandy route to the beach at Bostadh
Sandy route to the beach at Bostadh
The low flat rocks seen ahead divide up Traigh Bostadh as they extend out to sea from the beach, the majority of this beautiful beach lying to the left of the rocks, with perhaps a fifth to the right. This small beach leads to the little inlet of the bay known as Poll a' Roin, which translates as "pool of the seal". There is some kind of small structure on these low rocks to the right, possibly a navigation beacon of some kind.
The more distant headland is Braigh nan Stacannan.
