Crossroads, Craigantlet hill, Belfast
Crossroads, Craigantlet hill, Belfast
The Belmont Road followed a twisting course as it ascended Craigantlet hill. The realigned road (the Ballymiscaw Road - middle) replaced it. The old lines of the Belmont Road remain for local access. The Harland & Wolff cranes Link are visible in the background (middle).
The Belmont Road, Belfast

The Belmont Road runs from the Holywood Road, at Gelston’s Corner, through suburban east Belfast, to Craigantlet hill just outside the built-up area.
