TQ4510 : Somewhere, Anywhere, Nowhere
taken 13 years ago, near to Glyndebourne, East Sussex, England

Somewhere, Anywhere, Nowhere
The name of the building that lies at the junction of New Road, Moor Lane and Lacy's Hill. Originally one building called Ockendens that was divided into three cottages in the early 19th century though it is now just two with the northern part, Nowhere, has been renamed to the rather dull Old Cottage. Somewhere and Anywhere have been joined together and is generally known as Anywhere on maps. The road junction itself is a later edition, on both Yeakell & Gardner's 1778 map and the 1813 edition of the OS map the cottage lies away from any road, the old route following the eastern and northern boundary of TQ4510 : The Long Field/Lower Homelands before heading up the current drive to Glyndebourne Farm and joining the old route of New Road which ran to the west of that dwelling.
