The Walking Tree
The Walking Tree
This unusual deformed beech tree is on the south side of Haining Loch on the outskirts of Selkirk. At various locations throughout the Haining Estate, posts indicate nearby heritage trees, and this one is called The Walking Tree. It resembles a prehistoric creature or an animated tree from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
