In The Running Gap - Newmarket racecourse
The Running Gap is a section in Devil's Dyke where the bank has been used to refill the dyke and the ground levelled to allow the racecourse to pass through. The Cesarewitch course stretches off into the distance. This would not have been a good place to be later in the day with horses racing towards the camera at 30 mph. The A14 trunk road is behind the hedge on the right.
