Doctor Bridge across the Esk - in contrast to NY1800 : Doctor Bridge an early autumn view from the other side of the river (both just downstream of the bridge). Careful inspection of either photo shows the unconformity in the stonework below the bridge arch where the bridge was widened to accommodate the doctor's gig.
