This path leads from Sally Port Gardens to Marlborough Road, through the Great Lines Heritage Park.
The Royal Engineers (based nearby) are helping Medway Council build a huge bonfire. TQ7668 : All ending in Smoke, Great Lines Heritage Park.
As well as erect safety fencing etc. for viewers and prepare the fireworks setting-off area.
Great Lines Heritage Park, Chatham

The Great Lines is over 70 hectares of open space at the heart of Medway. Between Gillingham and Chatham.
The huge expanse of the Great Lines was in its own right a layer of defence to protect Chatham Dockyard from attack.
At its centre is the Chatham Naval War Memorial.
