Summerley Works - Hydraulic pump
Summerley Works - Hydraulic pump
The boiler works of Israel Newton has now closed and the name has been bought by two brother operating in Derbyshire. This motor driven three throw pump pressurised the hydraulic circuit and weight loaded accumulator that operated the site's hydraulic riveting machine - SE1637 : Summerley Works - hydraulic riveting machine. It was built by Bradley & Turton Ltd of Kiddermisnster and as far as I can recall is the only product of this company's that I've ever seen. It was inside a little wooden cabin in the works.

It has now been acquired by a private collector in the Midlands.
