County Bridge, Mytholmroyd
County Bridge, Mytholmroyd
There was a timber bridge here in the 15C or 16C, replaced in 1634 by a stone packhorse bridge which is still under the present structure. The bridge was widened in 1824 in conjunction with the turnpike road to Blackstone Edge. A footbridge was added on the eastern side in the 1990s, and later another was constructed on the western side.
