North Leverton Windmill
The windmill was first built in 1813. A major refit in 1884 involved heightening of the tower, the installation of a new cap and the fitting of patent sails. Two new sails were fitted in 1923. On 28th July 1959 lightning struck one of the sails and a fire started. Rebuilding was completed by 1961. Since 1956 the mill has been run a charitable trust. LinkExternal link
