London Bombings Memorial, Hyde Park
The 52 steel pillars in Hyde Park were unveiled by the Prince of Wales on 7th July 2009, the fourth anniversary of the London bombings. The memorial consists of 52 stainless steel pillars, one for each victim, grouped in four clusters, to mark the four locations of the attacks: Tavistock Square, Edgware Road, King's Cross and Aldgate. There are no names on the actual pillars, just the date, time and location for each one of the victims. The names of all those who were killed are on a plaque at the far end.
