Looking from the main entrance through the southern part of the churchyard towards the Parish Church of Ringwood.
The original, probably wooden, church on this site was recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. The next one was built of stone but by the early 19th century it was in such a state it had to be demolished and rebuilt. The present building, now listed Grade II* ( Link
(Archive Link ) ), was erected in 1853-5 by F & H Francis. Cruciform in plan with a central tower, the church is a tall restrained structure built in late Early English/Early Decorated style.
