Fog in the Arun Valley
A few minutes earlier we had driven through Arundel, which was blessed with warm sunshine - perhaps the only place in Sussex that was, on this November morning. Minutes before that, we'd driven over the ridge of the South Downs - fog over the north-facing slope giving way to weak sunshine at the top. Patchy fog swirled around for most of the day.
