Up stopping train entering Willesden Junction station
Up stopping train entering Willesden Junction station
View westward, towards Watford Junction and the North, WCML. The train is probably from Bletchley, bound for Euston, headed by Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 No. 44867 (built 1945, withdrawn 6/67). Directly above is the West London/North London line and the High Level station; the main line platforms at Willesden Junction were closed after the electrification in 1966. The trolley-bus crossing the Old Oak Lane/Station Road bridge is on either of Routes 626 (Acton - Clapham Junction), 660 (North Finchley - Hammersmith) or 666 (Edgware - Hammersmith).
