"Despite later alterations, this remains as a competent example of the C19 Baronial style", says English Heritage of this Grade II listed, prominent and photogenic building jutting out above the River Teign foreshore. It was built c1880 of sandstone rubble, with c1930 additions. The listing says that it is now holiday apartments.
