New entrance to the National Maritime Museum
Since the Sammy Ofer Wing of the museum was opened in 2011, this gateway off King William Walk has been the main approach to the museum from the town centre. The area inside the gates is the site of the former St Mary's Church. See TQ3877 : King William IV, scaffolded for a photo during reconstruction.
