Chadkirk Country Estate is around 60 acres and is comprised of low lying farm land and Ancient woodland. These Ancient woodlands are designated as Sites of Biological Importance due to the rich flora & fauna associated with these old woodlands. The entire Estate has been designated as an LNR, (Local Nature Reserve). Link

The place name Chadkirk means ‘the church of Chad’. Local tradition says that Chad founded a monastic cell here, and that the present Chadkirk Chapel occupies the site. Chad was the 7th century Bishop of Lichfield and saint to whom the chapel is dedicated.
This view is looking from Vale Road, towards the farm and restored 14th Century chapel.
