St Philips Church, Nutley Lane
St Philips Church, Nutley Lane
This church dates from 1863, when it was known as the Nutley Lane Church. It was given the name St Philips Church in 1920. Seen here on Christmas Day 2011, with its traditional crib alongside the porch. A week previously work had been completed on restoration of the stonework on the front of the church - compare TQ2450 : St Philips Church, Nutley Lane for a previous view. In the background on the left of the photo is the Admiral Inn (see TQ2450 : The Admiral Inn), with Colley Hill in the distance.
