Pulpitum and organ
Fantastic spectacle in the crossing of St.Mary's Cathedral, with exquisite detail on the c1335 pulpitum and organ pipes. The four-manual organ was originally built in 1826 by W.Allen and enlarged by his son in 1851, it was further enlarged by the great organ builder 'Father Willis' in 1898 at a cost of 5,000. The Early English Gothic architecture of the Great Transepts and Angel Choir await !
