Storm on 28th December 2011

This was the second major storm to strike West Central Scotland in December 2011, the other (on 8th December) being stronger and more disruptive. Some structural damage occurred in Gourock as a result of the storm on the 28th, but life went on as normal in most cases. Ashton Promenade took the brunt of the storm, with the sheltered Gourock Bay and Cardwell Bay affected to a lesser extent.
