Just Passing By

We're passing through, just you and I
like passing clouds roll across the sky.

Like the summer sun and the winter's rain

Each step we take along the way

The plaque is at the right hand end of the seat shown in NY7963 : Pastures and woodland near Ridley. The plaque does not say that Lawrence Hewer, of Rowfoot, Featherstone (to the west of Allen Banks, on the other side of Plenmeller Common) has composed many poems about this area of Northumberland - see Link .
