This elegant cast iron road bridge spans the River Wye at Bigsweir. Now carrying the A466 it was originally built in 1827 as part of a new turnpike road between Chepstow and Monmouth. The bridge was designed by Charles Hollis and cast in Merthyr Tydfil.
