The boulder is known locally as 'The Lord's Stone' NY5857 : Tortie from 'The Lord's Stone'. It is marked with very eroded cup and ring carvings on its north face (described by Stan Beckensall in 'Prehistoric Rock Art in Cumbria as Tortie 2). There are several photos here LinkExternal link
