Kidwelly Castle gatehouse
Kidwelly Castle gatehouse
A three or four storey medieval gatehouse, with pigeons much in evidence inside. Rebuilt after the Welsh Revolt of Owain Glyndwr, on the orders of King Henry V, it also survived the English Civil War, and of course the centuries since.
