A trainload of scrap at Pilning
A scrap train from Exeter is held awaiting a forward path through the Severn Tunnel. Right behind the locomotive is a guards brake van which was quite unusual in those days. Quite a bit of scrap used to be moved to the then Allied Steel and Wire company at Cardiff Tidal.
