Gateway House, Piccadilly, Manchester
Gateway House, Piccadilly, Manchester
A successful venture north for the Colonel, Richard Seifert & Partners. Built in 1967-69. An elegant sinuous curve along the approach road to Piccadilly Station. In plan a shallow S-shape, the curves accentuated by the horizontal bands. "One of the best 1960s office blocks in Manchester", wrote Pevsner.
