Bude Sea Pool
Bude Sea Pool is a part natural, part man-made pool in the rocks at Summerleaze Beach. It was originally built in 1930. It has been frequently refurbished, the latest in Spring 2011. At high tide it is filled by sea water. Its largest dimensions are 90 metres long and 45 metres wide. On this visit, gale-force winds were causing miniature waves on the normally smooth surface of the bathing pool.
