NS9160 : Carved Panel at Leadloch (4)

Carved Panel at Leadloch (4)
Carved Panel at Leadloch (4)
This panel is built into the wall of an outbuilding facing the wing of the farm house. Whether is it still where it was originally built is unclear, because it seems unlikely that a lintel would have been built in halfway up a window, and the bricks are obviously later. I have no theories as to the purpose of the wood-framed hole in the brickwork.
